Dr. Susan Stuart

Dr. Susan Stuart is a Board Certified Pediatrician with 3 decades of experience. Over the past 15 years Dr Stuart has expanded her efforts to include specific emphasis on weight management in the pediatric and adult populations. After finishing her Pediatric Residency in the United States Navy, she arrived in Newport, RI in 1997. Her deep commitment to nurturing the health and well being of children led to a recognition of a growing need for more comprehensive attention to specific needs particularly obesity. In 2017 Dr Stuart embarked on establishing a portion of her practice in aesthetic medicine. This addition allowed her to embrace a truly holistic approach to wellness. While she continues to focus on pediatric health, particularly in the area of childhood obesity, she now empowers adult patients through aesthetic treatments, promoting self confidence, self-esteem and overall vitality.

Her extensive education includes a Doctor of Osteopathy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, a Master’s degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Public Health/Epidemiology as well as a Master’s Degree in Health Professions Education from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.

Dr Stuart is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics, The American Society of Obesity Medicine and the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics.
